Patch 9 or 9 means that the pilot had Indian blood. The letter "I" is the ninth letter of the alphabet, so the number. The Ace of Spades means that the rider would fight for their right to life and death, a flag patch may be referring to family lineage, or country where the motorcycle came.

MC or MCC means Motor Cycle club, while President driver patch that occupies a position in an association is supported. There are also commemorative patches. These patches are messages such as "In memory of ..." These can be worn anywhere on the bike, not just the back of the jacket.
